Aubrey Plaza born June 26 1984 is an actor and comic known for her deadpan humorous sense of humor. She is April Ludgate, a character in the TV show Parks and Recreation. Her first web series was The Jeannie Tate Show following the time she appeared in improv, sketch and slapstick at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Later in her career, she became a star on Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and the World. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza is the daughter Bernadette Plaza of an attorney and David Plaza, a financial expert. She was born in Wilmington Delaware. Both her parents are both Irish/English and Puerto Rican. Plaza graduated from a Catholic all-girls high school in 2002. She then attended the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2006. The year she completed her senior year in high school, she was President of the Student Council at the Catholic school for all girls as well as a participant in Wilmington Drama League performances. Plaza had a stroke while in her second year of college. It left her with an expressive aphasia, as well with a paralysis. The patient is now fully recovered. Plaza began performing improv, sketch comedy, and a range of different forms at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater New York City in 2004. The New York location has seen Plaza been performing stand-up comics at The Improv as well as the Laugh Factory. Plaza has appeared as a guest on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show playing the character of Robin Gibney and was also featured as Ben Schwartz, as well being a character on Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions.
